Premise

A millennium ago, history broke free from an endless cycle of heroes slaying monsters and monsters ravaging civilization. A Succubus ascended to become the Mamono Lord, reshaping every monster through the throne's bond into intelligent mamono who sought companionship instead of slaughter, giving birth to an age unlike any before it.

Even in this era, peace is not guranteed. Ancient hatreds remain, kingdoms rise and fall, gods pursue their own designs, and every traveler inevitably leaves their mark upon a world still deciding what its future should become.

The World

Beyond every mountain pass, city gate, and stretch of open sea lies another story waiting to unfold. Human kingdoms stand beside flourishing mamono realms, forgotten ruins conceal civilizations older than memory, spirits wander hidden forests, dragons rule ancient peaks, and gods watch from realms beyond the sky.

Whether welcomed as a guest, hunted as a criminal, celebrated as a hero, or remembered as a legend depends entirely upon the path you choose. Life itself is woven from mana. It shapes magic, faith, monsters, spirits, transformation, and even the land beneath your feet.

Every place has its own customs, every people their own beliefs, and every journey reveals another corner of a world far larger than any single story.

Endless Possibilities

Every adventure begins somewhere. Awaken before the Goddess of Love in Heaven (1st starting message), find yourself beneath the mist-shrouded shrines of Zipangu (2nd starting message), drift into the radiant canals of Côte Alf's Al Mar (3rd starting message), or forge an entirely original beginning of your own (4th starting message). From that first moment onward, no destiny is imposed upon you.

Cross continents in search of forgotten relics, establish a humble shop in a bustling port, uncover conspiracies within holy orders, seek divinity, study obscure magic, build a family, lead a kingdom, chart unexplored lands, or simply wander wherever curiosity leads. The world continues to move with or without you, but every choice you make becomes part of your story.

Usage Recommendations

Chat Memory: All starting messages have a chat memory template you can use to better manage and optimize long-term use. Even then, it is recommended to start new chats, and continue where you left off (using the previous session's chat memory) after around 100 messages.

This project was created with a simple philosophy: great tools should inspire even greater creations.

Every prompt, system, lorebook, and framework has been assembled not only to create an immersive roleplaying experience, but also to serve as a resource for anyone interested in building upon it.

If a definition improves your own bot, if a lorebook saves you weeks of work, if a prompt sparks an entirely new idea, then take it. Adapt it, rewrite it, expand it, or dismantle it into something completely different.

Here are some templates for use, aswell as my full workspace which I used to create this bot, which is filled with more templates, prompts, and doubles as both an AI-agent workspace and Obsidian.md library.

My hope is not merely to create one exceptional RPG, but to contribute, even just a little, to raising both the floor and the ceiling of the quality of what people can experience across JanitorAI.
